No Refunds & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for photo booth rentals booked with Boothly Events, LLC. By signing an event services agreement and paying a retainer, you agree to this policy.
1. All sales are final - no refunds
All payments made to Boothly Events, LLC are non-refundable. This includes retainers, partial payments, final balances, add-ons, travel fees, and any other amounts paid in connection with your booking. We do not issue refunds for any reason, including but not limited to:
- change of mind, change of plans, or change of event date
- change of venue or event guest count
- cancellation by the client for any reason
- postponement of the event by the client
- weather, traffic, or guest no-shows
- venue restrictions or venue cancellation
- force majeure events (see Section 4)
- dissatisfaction with photo strip designs or backdrops that match what was approved in writing
We commit our team, equipment, calendar slot, and creative time to your event the moment you book. Once that commitment is made, those resources cannot be recovered if your event is cancelled, which is why this policy is strict.
2. Rescheduling
We understand life happens. While refunds are not available, we offer a one-time courtesy reschedule, subject to the following:
- The reschedule request must be made in writing (email is acceptable) at least thirty (30) days before the original event date.
- The new event date must be within twelve (12) months of the original event date and must be a date Boothly Events has available.
- Rescheduling does not extend payment due dates. Any balance still due is payable on the original 14-day pre-event schedule, against the new date once confirmed.
- If our pricing increases between the original and rescheduled date, the client is responsible for the difference.
- A rescheduling fee may apply if the request is made less than thirty (30) days before the original event date. The fee will be disclosed in writing before any reschedule is confirmed.
- Reschedule requests made fewer than seven (7) days before the original event date are not guaranteed and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. No refund will be issued if a reschedule is not possible.
3. Cancellation by the client
If you cancel your event entirely, your booking is terminated and all payments made to date are forfeited. We will release the date back to our calendar. No refund or future credit will be issued.
4. Force majeure
If Boothly Events cannot perform on the event date due to causes beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, civil unrest, government action, pandemic, venue closure, or power outages), we will work with you in good faith to reschedule to a mutually available date within twelve (12) months at no additional fee. If a reschedule cannot be agreed upon, all payments are forfeited and no refund will be issued. This policy is consistent with our Terms of Service.
5. Cancellation by Boothly Events
Boothly Events reserves the right to cancel a booking before the event date in limited circumstances, including failure by the client to pay the balance, breach of the event services agreement, or threats to staff or equipment safety. In the unusual case where Boothly Eventscancels and the cancellation is not caused by the client’s breach or unsafe conditions, we will refund payments made for the cancelled event. This is the only circumstance in which a refund may be issued.
6. Disputes and chargebacks
We are committed to making your event a great experience. If you have a concern, please contact us first at events@boothlyevents.com so we can address it. Initiating a chargeback in violation of this policy or your event services agreement is itself a breach. You are responsible for any fees we incur from a chargeback that is ultimately resolved in our favor.
